Slightly soluble in petroleum ether, soluble in benzene, toluene, acetone, carbon tetrachloride, chloroform, ethanol, ethyl acetate. When heated above its melting point, it is converted into a cis-equilibrium mixture. Reacts with water to form the corresponding acid. It has a stimulating effect on the skin and mucous membranes. |

The cured product has excellent weather resistance, heat resistance and electrical properties.
