In a reactor with a reflux condenser, add 106.5 parts of dodecyl amine, raise the temperature to 80 ℃, and add 40.25 parts of chloroethanol dropwise. After the addition is completed, the temperature is raised to 100 ℃ and the reaction is carried out for 12 hours to obtain dodecyl dimethyl hydroxyethyl ammonium chloride. Then, the prepared dodecyl dimethyl hydroxyethyl ammonium chloride and 24.5 parts of maleic anhydride are added to the esterification reactor, followed by a certain amount of toluene and an appropriate amount of catalyst concentrated sulfuric acid. The temperature is raised to 118 ℃ and the reaction is carried out at a constant temperature for 8 hours. Separate the water and steam out the water carrying agent toluene to obtain the product diethyl maleate bis (dodecyldimethylammonium chloride).
