(S)-1,2-Butanediol ((S)-1,2-Butanediol) is an organic compound with the chemical formula C4H10O2. It has two hydroxyl functional groups, one on carbon number 1 and the other on carbon number 2. Its optical isomers are (S) type and (R) type two. Here is the (S) type.
