application
Sodium hexachloroplatinate can be prepared by reacting sponge platinum with industrial sodium chloride and passing ammonia. Can be used to prepare platinum nitrate solution, platinum nitrate compound, is a popular catalyst precursor product in the market.
Preparation
chlorination of sponge platinum in medium-temperature molten salt to produce sodium chloroplatinate: 300g of sponge platinum powder with purity greater than 99.95% and 900g of industrial sodium chloride are mixed according to a mass ratio of 1:3, then the mixed materials are put into quartz boats, heated to 450 ℃ in a tubular furnace, chlorine gas is introduced, the flow rate of chlorine gas is 65 mL/min, chlorine gas is introduced for 4h, chlorine gas is disconnected, and sodium hexachloroplatinate powder is prepared after cooling to normal temperature.
