Tricyclo[3.3.1.13,7]decane-1,4-diol, also known as butanediol, is an organic compound with the chemical formula C4H10O2, which has two hydroxyl (-OH) functional groups, one hydroxyl group is attached to the first carbon of the adamantane and the other hydroxyl group is attached to the fourth carbon of the adamantane.
