-Soluble: Soluble in organic solvents such as ether and dichloromethane, slightly soluble in water

-is widely used as an intermediate in organic synthesis, especially in the pharmaceutical and pesticide fields.
-It can also be used as a complex in asymmetric synthesis, catalysts and liquid crystals.
Preparation Method:
Synthesized by the following reaction:
1. First, 2-chlorotrifluorotoluene (C7H4ClF3) is reacted with sodium nitrite-N-acetamide complex to obtain 2-nitrotrifluorotoluene (C7H3NO2F3).
2. 2-Nitrotrifluorotoluene reacts with hydrogen bromide, and then the nitro functional group is replaced with the bromine functional group through a substitution reaction to get the nitro functional group.

-Use should wear protective gloves, goggles and protective masks to avoid contact with skin and inhalation of gas.

-In case of contact or ingestion, seek medical attention immediately.
