It is widely used in asymmetric hydrogenation, diazotization, olefin hydrogenation, asymmetric nucleophilic substitution, asymmetric reduction and other reactions.
The method for preparing (R)-( )-DM-SEGPHOS includes a two-step reaction. First, 3,5-xylitol reacts with Ph2PCl to obtain 3,5-xylylbis (diphenylphosphine) compound; then, it reacts with 4,4 '-bis (1,3-benzodione) under the catalysis of lead (II) salt to obtain the target product.
