17082-61-0 - Introduction
Bis(trimethylsiloxy) cyclotene chemical formula (CH3) 3sioc4h6si (CH3)3, abbreviated as D3B. The following is an introduction to the nature, use, formulation and safety information of D3B:
Nature:
1. Appearance: colorless liquid.
2. Density: 0.816g/cm³.
3. Boiling Point: 90-93 ° C.
4. Melting point:-100 ° C.
5. Solubility: Soluble in Inorganic solvents such as ethanol and ether, and almost insoluble in water.
Use:
1. D3B has a unique chemical structure and can be used to prepare a variety of organosilicon compounds.
2. Can be used as organic synthesis of silicon ENE reagent and synthetic raw materials.
3. Can be used in the field of organic synthesis catalyst.
Method:
The preparation of D3B is generally obtained by a Silylation reaction. The specific steps are as follows:
1. Under an inert atmosphere, add the required pyrophosphoric acid catalyst, cerium chloride and solvent (such as carbon disulfide) to the reaction vessel.
2. Add cyclobutene to the reaction vessel, and then raise the temperature of the reaction system to a certain temperature.
3. After several hours of reaction, the remaining cyclobutene is added dropwise to the reaction system, and the reaction is continued for a period of time.
4. After the reaction, Bis(trimethylsiloxy) cyclotene is isolated and purified through process steps such as distillation and extraction.
Safety Information:
1. D3B is an organic silicon compound, which may be irritating to the human body. Direct contact with skin and eyes should be avoided, and appropriate protective equipment should be worn during operation.
2. Avoid contact with oxygen, acids and heat sources during handling and storage to avoid possible hazardous reactions and fire risks.
3. Waste treatment shall comply with relevant local laws and regulations to avoid environmental pollution. Consult a professional if necessary.
