2. Reacting acetylacetonamide aminoammonium iodide salt with ethylamine to generate 2-ethylaminoimidazole.
3.2-Ethyl amino imidazole is reacted with hydrochloric acid to generate the BIS-hydrochloride of 2-ethyl amino imidazole.
