2-THIEN-2-YLPYRIDINE - Introduction
2-(2-thienyl) pyriridine (2-(2-thienyl) pyriridine) is an organic compound with the chemical formula C9H7NS. The following is a description of its nature, use, formulation and safety information:

-Appearance: 2-(2-thienyl)pyridine is a colorless to yellow crystal or powdery substance.

Method:
- 2-(2-thienyl)pyridine can be obtained by the reaction of 2-hydrazonopyridine and 2-thiophenyl borate. First, 2-hydrazonoylpyridine and a boronic acid ester are reacted under basic conditions to form a boronic acid hydrazone. Then, a solution of boronic acid hydrazone was obtained by funnel separation. Finally, 2-(2-thienyl)pyridine is generated by heating the boronic acid hydrazone solution in the presence of thiophenol.
