Nature:
-Appearance: It is a solid, commonly yellow crystal.
-Melting point: about 80-83 ℃.
-Boiling point: about 288 ℃ (decomposition).
-Density: Approximately 2.12 g/mL(20°C).
-Solubility: Soluble in organic solvents such as dimethylformamide (DMF) and dichloromethane.
-Stability: Stable at room temperature, but avoid prolonged exposure to light and high temperature.

Use:
-is often used as an intermediate in organic synthesis.
-It can be used to synthesize other organic compounds, such as drugs and pesticides.

Preparation Method:
The preparation method can be achieved by iodination reaction and electrophilic substitution reaction:
1. First, 1,3-difluorobenzene (4-fluorophenyl fluoride) is reacted with a nucleophile sodium iodide (NaI) in an organic solvent to obtain 4-fluoro-1-iodobenzene (4-fluoro-1-iodobenzene).
2. Then, 4-fluoro-1-iodobenzene is reacted with nitrating reagent nitric acid (HNO3) under appropriate conditions to obtain fluorobenzene.
