use | this product is an intermediate of pesticides and dyes. Used in organic synthesis and dye industry |
Production method | is obtained by reacting aniline and iodine in the presence of sodium bicarbonate. Add aniline and sodium bicarbonate to the water, and slowly add the crushed iodine in several times under vigorous stirring. After adding, continue stirring for 20min. If the obtained reaction solution is yellow, a little sodium bisulfite can be added to fade it, and then filtered to obtain a crude product. The finished product is recrystallized by ethanol. |
