58115-31-4 - Introduction
TMC-58B(Ethyl pipeonyl butoxide) is a commonly used insecticide adjuvant. Its chemical name is 1-(2-acetonyl)-3-(2-methylpropyl)-4-(pyrrolidinyl) oxobenzene, and has the following properties:
1. Appearance: Orange to brownish yellow liquid.
2. Solubility: soluble in organic solvents, insoluble in water.
TMC-58B are mainly used as agricultural and household pesticide additives to enhance the effectiveness of pesticides. Its mechanism of action is to inhibit the metabolic enzymes of insects, which increases the toxicity of insecticides to target insects and prolongs their duration of action.
Its preparation method is generally obtained by chemical reactions such as oxidation and esterification of phenolic compounds nicotine amines. The preparation process needs to follow the relevant safety procedures, avoid contact with skin, eyes and inhalation of gas. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment to ensure a well-ventilated operating environment.
It should be noted that although TMC-58B is less acute toxic to adults, it may have negative effects on aquatic organisms and soil ecology. Therefore, please follow the relevant regulations and safe operation guidelines when using it to ensure its correct use and storage to reduce environmental risks.
