Method:
The preparation of 6-bromo-4-hydroxy-3-aminoquinoline can be achieved by the following steps:
1. the reaction of 2-amino -5-bromopyridine and sodium nitrite to generate zinc salt nitroso acid under alkaline conditions.
2. Then the zinc salt nitroso acid reacts with p-phenylenediamine to generate 6-bromo -4-hydroxy -2-nitroquinoline.
3. Finally, 2-nitroquinoline was reacted with sodium sulfite to be reduced to the corresponding 6-bromo-4-hydroxy-3-aminoquinoline.
