It is used for leukopenia caused by various reasons. During radiotherapy and chemotherapy for cancer patients, it can also prevent leukopenia. |

It is a novel inhibitor of bcr/abl with potent anti-leukemia activity and an inhibitor of NF-κB. Berbamine (BA, BBM) inhibits the growth of cancer cells and induces apoptosis of human myeloma cells by targeting Ca²/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II (CaMKII). |
