Method:
PROPYLISOPROPYLETHER can be prepared by the following reaction:
1. Reaction of isopropyl alcohol with propyl ether: isopropyl alcohol and propyl ether are heated to generate propyl isopropyl ether and water.
2. Reaction of isopropanol with propylene: Isopropanol and propylene are heated in the presence of an acid catalyst (e. G., sulfuric acid) to produce propyl isopropyl ether.
