PYRIDIN-4-YL-METHANETHIOL - Introduction
Pyridin-4-Yl-Methanethiol(4-Pyridinemethanethiol) is an organic compound with the chemical formula C6H7NS. It is a colorless to light yellow liquid with a strong ammonia odor.
Pyridin-4-Yl-Methanethiol are widely used in organic synthesis. It can be used as a strong acid for catalyzing different organic reactions such as esterification, acylation and amidation.
