Meclofenoxate (Centrophenoxine) hydrochloride is an ester synthesized from DMAE and pCPA, capable of crossing the blood-brain barrier, and can stimulate memory and enhance cognition.

Meclofenoxate Hydrochloride (10 µM, 24 hours) significantly protects mitochondrial function in primary neurons, restoring mitochondrial morphology, reversing Rotenone (HY-B1756)-induced mitochondrial damage, and regulating redox balance[3].

Meclofenoxate Hydrochloride (50 µg/g, i.p., once daily for 4 weeks) significantly improved behavioral abnormalities and depression-like symptoms in rotenone (HY-B1756)-induced Parkinson's disease mice[3].
