| introduction | pyridine compounds are one of the most widely developed and applied varieties of heterocyclic compounds at present. 5-amino -2-methylpyridine is an important fine chemical raw material, its derivatives mainly include alkyl pyridine, halogenated pyridine, aminopyridine, bromopyridine, methylpyridine, iodopyridine, chloropyridine, nitropyridine, hydroxypyridine, benzyl pyridine, ethyl pyridine, cyanopyridine, fluoropyridine, dihydropyridine, etc., of which pesticides account for about 50% of the total consumption of 5-amino-2-methylpyridine series products, feed additives are about 30%, and medicine and other fields account for 20%. |

Dissolve 0.65g of crude 5-amino -2-methylpyridine in dilute hydrochloric acid solution until the crude product is completely dissolved to obtain a salt solution, add ethyl acetate to the salt solution to extract the water-retaining phase, slowly add sodium bicarbonate solution to the water phase, until the pH is 9, the solid is completely precipitated, filtered, distilled water washes the filter cake, and vacuum dries to obtain 0.53g of light yellow solid 5-amino -2-methylpyridine with a yield of 81.5%, 99.2% purity. |
