Tri-t-butylsilane - Introduction
Tri-t-butylsilane (abbreviation: TBS) is an organosilicon compound having the chemical formula (CH3) 3c6h4sih, wherein (CH3)3C represents a butyl group. The following is an introduction to the nature, use, preparation and safety information of TBS:

-Protecting group: TBS is a commonly used protecting group. In organic synthesis, TBS ether is generated by reacting with hydroxyl group to protect hydroxyl group from other reactions.
