| In vitro study | In a cellular assay, CGP57380 inhibited the phosphorylation of eIF4E with an IC50 of 3 μm. In 293 cells, CGP57380 induced dephosphorylation of eIF4E, increasing cap-dependent reporter gene activity. CGP57380 sensitizes wild-type cells in mouse fibroblasts (MEFs) to serum withdrawal-induced apoptosis.. CGP57380 inhibits a range of functions of BC precursors. |
